The Winter Percussion Ensemble takes both the Drumline and the Front Ensemble from Marching Band to
create an indoor competitive show, using only percussion instruments.
The group starts working on the show at the beginning of December and takes the show to competitions from mid-February
to mid-April.
The group is open to all high school students currently enrolled in the music program at Arlington,
not just percussionists, and auditions are held at the beginning of December.
This is a great way to continue to improve your skills, as the music tends to be more
challenging than that of the Marching Band for percussionists and meet new friends.
